Chocolate Crinkles are such a classic cookie! They’re chocolatey, chewy, and oh-so-good!
What you need:
- 4 squares unsweetened chocolate (2 oz. each) – melted and cooled
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup powder sugar (used for rolling dough into balls)
Melt chocolate squares and allow to cool. Combine granulated sugar, oil, and melted chocolate squares until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add salt and baking powder, combining well. Lastly, add flour and mix until well blended. Refrigerate dough for at least three hours.
Place powdered sugar in a medium-sized bowl. Scoop dough (based on the size you’d like your cookies) and place dough directly into powdered sugar. Coat dough with powdered sugar first then roll into balls. Coating the dough first keeps the dough from sticking to your hands.
Place evenly spaced on cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350. This recipe can easily be cut in half.
